About Data Smart

Data Smart gives easy access to professional development events, news, meetings and consultations relating to information products and services. It includes training, seminars and conferences throughout Queensland, as well as news of latest developments in the industry. Data Smart is an everyday tool for specialist networks, including statistics; economic data and modelling; spatial information; social, crime and transport statistics; and data management. 

Data Smart has been established by the Office of Economic and Statistical Research in Queensland Treasury to further promote high standards in data use and to develop partnerships that assist agencies and organisations share data, information and knowledge.
